frequently asked question

How does it work?

It's simple. Select a treatment, complete an intake form, and book an appointment with a provider.

What is the price?

The consultation price is $59, where a provider will assess your issue and recommend the appropriate treatments. This is a cash-only price, but the great news is that it’s often less than what most people with insurance pay for their co-pay. Medication costs are not covered by the cost of your visit. You can purchase your medication from any drugstore if a clinician provides a prescription for you. The medication may be covered by your insurance. You would need to talk to the pharmacy about that.

Can I pay for the visit using my health insurance?

Health insurance is not currently accepted at the Optum Health Clinic. Rather, the care you receive is covered by a fixed price. You may use an HSA or FSA debit card to make payments.

Can I pay for any prescription drugs my doctor may recommend using my health insurance?

Sure, but different insurance plans cover different prescription medications. Please direct any questions you may have regarding your coverage to your pharmacy or insurance. The price of your appointment does not cover the cost of your prescription.

How does Optum Health Clinic protect my health information?

Optum Health Clinic complies fully with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act's regulations to safeguard your health information (HIPAA). HIPAA controls the use of your medical information, including contact and payment details, by Optum Health Clinic and your healthcare providers. Your personal information is not and will never be sold by Optum Health Clinic.
